since it's the march holidays now, i get to meet the primary ones and twos for the first time since i started work.
however, most of the upper primary students that i've been with since late january will not be coming to the day care, since they're supposedly older and can take care of themselves at home or something. so now i've to deal with the younger and "cuter" students.
which is supposed to be easier right?
oh hell no it's not: it's a nightmare. give me the older smart alecs any day of the week; they're easy to deal with compared to these little devils.
instead of a long hard stare to get the misbehaving rascal to stop his/her nonsense, i now have to deal with wailing kidos.
instead of having more sensible questions thrown at me, i now have to deal with mumbles (when they're being reprimanded) or rumbles (any other time). granted the older ones were never too quiet themselves, at least their noise has some semblance to sense. now, i don't what my charges are screaming about half of the time- maybe more.
oh, and instead of playing football, i now have to settle with dog and bone.
