no white flag

i really like the song the man who can't be moved, but everythime i hear that song, i always get a feeling that there's another song that i know that is kind of similar, and yesterday, while going through my contact lens notes, i hear white flag again after a long long time, and something just clicked and felt right. this is the song that i've been subconsciously looking for.

i don't know, but both songs emit similar vibes, of being steadfast in love, to me at least.

but i'm really into what i'd call soothing music now because of TMWCBM (go figure), and thus, i'm listening to dido all over again.

simple melody, nothing too complicated, pleasant voice, while her lyrics are straightforward, yet meaningful (i really like life for rent). oh, and she's gorgeous to boot.

anyway, being the football manager nut that i am, i'm a reader of this blog, where the author posts the latest going-on in his game, the players he buys, the results he achieves etc... but his latest entry was different frm the rest. it's titled being a husband..., and guess what, it's about his wedding, complete with pictures of 'the most wonderful girl in (his) life', and a short paragraph explaining the short break in updates (he's going on honeymoon), while requesting for patience from his readers.

and i thought, that's sweet of him.
