i saw this note that was written to me by my pj tutor. while not being the most flattering, and i definitely didn't like it at that time, it does make a little sense, while being applicable to life's challenges, not just academically.

it goes like that:
dear matthew,
please work alot harder. overconfidence can be a very big cause of failures!! so please work harder, being smart is one thing, being able to use your smartness wisely will make you even smarter.

and with that she signed off.

what the hell is she doing teaching 'a' level biology?
