thanks to me taking the 'know your temperament blend' module for gems last semester, i now know, for sure, that i'm a choleric'/melancholy blend.
for those who don't know better, there aer basically 4 temperament types: the popular sanguine, the perfect melancholy, the powerful choleric, and the peaceful phlegmatic.
the names of each type pretty much describes the traits of each temperament type in 2words. and every one starts with 'p'. cool huh.
anyway, i think that the sanguine type folks are the most pathetic, since they are the ones that are least likely to get things done, not because of inaptitude, but because of their frivolousness.
and i was quite sure of sanguine being the least of all the 4 temperament types till a friend remarked that those melancholy people are the worst off; they are such perfectionists that they're never happy.
perhaps it's because that friend is a sanguine, and so 'happiness' is more important to that friend than 'getting things done', and the choleric/melancholy blend are supposed to be the best in 'getting things done', resulting in this spilt in views.
i was reminded of this incident recently when i found myself disagreeing with my friend over matters that to others seem trivial. but we're both headstrong and refuse to budge.
and that incident serves to remind me that no matter how thin a slice of cucumber is, there is always, 2 sides. no exception. (two sides to everything, 2 points of view) nonetheless, pardon me, i still think that i make more sense, and have the larger side of the slice then that friend of mine.
anyhow, i was wondering, too, about me being of the choleric/melancholy blend, the so-called ultimate go-getter type (motivated plus perfectionists).
so why do my grades not reflect that?
by the way, it's youth day!
