i'd never have thought that i'd be saying this, but i do hope that it rains soon.

i've always hated the rain, because ssc will then cancel our field booking and it gets all muddy, meaning that i've got to brush mud off my socks, brush mud off my shorts, brush mud off my shirt after playing ball.

and since i've never been overly concerned about the heat (i'll take the heat over rain anytime), i've always considered rain as a necessary evil, you know with the water cycle thing and all.

but today, i sincerely hope that it rains soon. this is because almost half the team, myself included, nearly died of respiratory failure, or something along the likes of that. the dust in the air was so horrendously thick because of the lack of rain that made the soil of the pitch to resemble to that of a desert, meaning that a storm of dust is kicked up everytime we run on the pitch.

when dust storm is kicked up everytime we run, and you have people playing football on such a pitch, what you get is a blizzard perhaps, of sand and dust, making breathing difficult.

and when breathing is difficult, and you have people playing football, what you get is BAD.

play Ball And Die
