i'm back from yongsoons's wedding.

first things first, i'd like that congratulate the couple, and i pray that they has a blessed marriage.

now, today was rather different a wedding for me; it was the first time that i attended a friend's wedding, without my parents and all and not the distant-cousin-whom-you-see-five-times-in-your-lifetime's wedding. so it was rather refreshing. refreshing aside, cheekiat asked me this question: what if it were you?

what if it was me indeed. and it really got me thinking. would i forget my vows then? (like yongsoon did, haha) i think that because yongsoon is a friend, and not someone i didn't know till the day of the wedding, marriage all of a sudden became somewhat nearer, like it's not some faraway future (well, maybe it still is), like it's lost it's surreality. like i said, it got me pondering... the food was quite good, i must say.

anyway, i saw this verse in the program today and thought it rather meaningful.

dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
- 1 John 3:18
