i bumped into joyee on my way home yesderday at pheonix station. (somehow i keep meeting people i knowwhen i take the train home instead of the bus) we were just chatting about how bpghs and pj and the people we knew when she said that most of them are didn't change in character at all despite being in jc for two years already. they were still like they were in bpghs. i replied that two years is a short time to change when one has been a certain way for sixteen years.

but is it? it struck me that there are also people who have changed from our secondary school days later in the day. or maybe it is my opinion of them that have changed.

i've seen volatile personalities mellow, adversaries reconcile, gregarious close friends grow cold and distant. i've seen loving spirits harden; disenchanted, boys/girls blossom into maturity and sensibility. i've seen my classmates, my schoolmates change for better or for worse. (but who am i to judge?)

then i realized that two years IS a long time, when all it takes is one moment, one incident, one day for a person to change his/her views and attitude to something, to someone, to life. all it takes is a day. (28th july)
